NPI AG 2024 TRACK EMAIL HEADER (3)

Dear Mobius community, alliance partners, friends, and clients:

We are delighted that Mobius Senior Experts Jennifer Garvey Berger and
Zafer Achi will join the 2024 faculty of the Annual Gathering of the Next Practice Institute.
For those of you hoping to be with us this year, spaces remain to join their week-long learning track: Delighting in Complexity.

Jennifer, a leading voice in adult development and best-selling author of four books on leading in complexity, and Zafer, a Director Emeritus at McKinsey & Company, with over 30 years of experience in large-scale transformations, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. Together, they will guide participants in cultivating advanced skills in complexity of mind, helping you to discover innovative solutions to the challenges you and your clients face. In this unique learning track, participants will gain the tools and insights to navigate complexity with a sense of joy rather than difficulty. This is a rare opportunity to learn from the best in the field.

To learn more about their approach, Jennifer and Zafer published this article in the McKinsey Quarterly.  More recently, Zafer spoke about what it means to dance in complexity in this podcast.

As many of you know, we conceived of NPI as a multi-year process in which practitioners—including coaches, facilitators, HR professionals, and executives leading change—would immerse themselves in tributaries of recent industry thought leadership but also perennial wisdom, contemplative, and devotional practices. Much of the curriculum is built on the relational skills required for us to become instruments of insight and growth for the people and organizations we lead and serve.

These annual sessions are designed for those whose work lives at the nexus of organizational development, large-scale culture work, team effectiveness, and systemic and societal change in tandem with the intimate intrapersonal and inter-personal healing we believe is necessary to bring about the holistic transformation that modern times demand.

We remain thrilled with the number of new faces that join us year after year as we continue to feel the momentum of interest in the themes and focus of the annual gathering:  the inner life of the leader, embodiment and somatics, trauma-informed organizations, and social change. If you are new to NPI, we encourage you to watch the opening address to last year’s event, where Mobius CEO and co-founder Amy Elizabeth Fox introduces the case for deep inner work and explains who we are as a community and why we meet together in this way. Watch the video here.  Or read the article based on the transcript: The Healing Impulse of the Human Heart.

Transformational change is intimate and profound work. It demands dedication to continuously deepen our presence and raise our own level of self-awareness and authentic self-expression, all of which is most joyously done within the generous space of a committed community. We very much look forward to seeing you in November.

Warmest wishes,

Amy
